Idea #12 - Garage Sale

Garage sales have are great for two things, you can make a little bit of money and also other people pay to haul you junk away. Over the years most of us acquire more then we use and at some stage you get to the point where you just have to much stuff that is when you should have a garage sale and get rid of the stuff that you have never used or the stuff that you will never use again.

All is takes is a weekend of you time to sort through and move stuff out to the garage and then the weekend after that set up shop and wait for buyers. I suggested posting on sites such as craigslist and gumtree about the garage sale as well as having signs up on street lamps that you are having a garage sale. Who know you may make $100 or you may make $2,000 but you will never know unless you try.

So good luck and i hope you can get rid of some of your junk soon.

Idea #11 - Start your own company

Before we start just remember that Bill Gates and Microsoft start off in a Garage before it came to be what it is today. Firstly find something you enjoy that you still want to do even if you don't get paid to do it. You may enjoy knitting or iphone repairs, what ever it is there is a market for it. Layout some plains of where you want to be in 1 week, 1 month, 6 months, 1 year and 5 years and then work towards it. When you break it down it is never as hard as you though it was it is just about doing the simple stuff and about doing it consistently. Try making systems that layout everything that needs to be done and perfect the system, this is more important even then the product. For example does McDonald's have the best tasting burger in the world? Even i know they don't, but then why are the so successful? They have broken their system down and made it so good that they can have 10 or so teenagers running a store making money for their owners.

Some people may start with business that already have systems in place such as network marketing companies. They are a good first step for people that have never had there own business before and can help you on your way to the life you want.

Good luck and if you make the next google cut cut me in for 1% of the profit and ill be happy.

Idea #10 - Day Trading

I start off by saying, with great risk comes great reward. However if you know what you are doing you can minimise your risk and increase your reward in this case profit. Day Trading any stock market can make or lose you a lot of money, the difference between the people that make the money and those that lose their money in my mind comes down to three main thing Financial Knowledge, Patients and the willingness to learn from mistakes.

The one thing to know about the stock market is that no matter who you are, everybody losses sometime you just need to make your loses smaller then you wins and you will come out ahead. I suggest that you get some financial advise before taking any action but also take into account that who ever is giving you financial advise make sure you like the size of their bank account, the car they drive and the house they live in because if they advise was really that great why are they telling you and not off making millions themselves.

If you don't know much about the stock market i suggest that you find some kind of course or seminar that will give you some understanding.

Good luck and hopefully you make a buck.

Idea #9 - Car Auctions

Car Auctions are filled with undervalued cars and cars that have been reposed if someone hasn't paid there loan. Finance companies know that the longer they have a Car the more it drops in value so they want to see it as soon as possible so they can get there money back. I suggested that the first few times you go to auctions that you don't bid and you just watch, most cars come with a condition report that you can read before hand and that can save you from having to fix a hole in the car or learning that the car is on it's last legs.

With that said there is money to be made in buying cars and if need be put some money into it to fix it up and selling it again for a profit. Even if you bought 6 Cars a year and sold them and made $2,000 a car that is $12,000 profit that you would have made otherwise and while you think you may need a lot to get started you only need $3,000 - $5,000 and to know when to stop bidding.

With that said good luck and i hope you make a few bucks.

Idea #8 - Car Washing

When there is a need for something people are willing to pay for it. In this case people are lazy and don't like to wash there own car's and will pay a premium for you to do it so they don't have to.

This can be done with a hose, bucket, sponge and car washing liquid. If you are a young kid this is even better as you can go door to door, even adult's can do this.  In most cases you can charge $10 or more a car, even if it takes you 30 mins to wash a car you can still make $20 an hour more then most people do when they start their first job.

Idea #7 - Give blood

In some countries you can get paid for things such as giving blood, plasma or other body fluids. Giving other body fluids is a choice that is up to the giver and whether they fill confortable with it or whether they think it is ethical.

Giving Blood is always a good thing whether you get paid for it or not as you are providing a community service which can and does save lives and more blood is always needed. In Australia 1 in 3 people will need blood, however only 1 in 30 people give blood.

Over a period of time you maybe able to make a small amount of money, if you get paid for giving blood that is.

Idea #6 - Donate $1

Have you ever heard the saying "you get what you give, 10 fold". Im a strong believer in this and at the worst you donate one dollar to a worth cause.

You never know how it will come back but i believe that it works and that what matters.
